Job overview: 

Uptime is looking to add more talent to the team. As a rapidly growing business, we are constantly recruiting, but we only want the best. 

Main role and responsibilities: 

  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Advise user on appropriate action
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Log all help desk interactions
  • Administer help desk software
  • Redirect problems to correct resource
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention 

Desirable skills: 

  • Someone with good telephone manners 

Personal qualities: 

  • A team player  
  • Willing to learn 
  • Driven and confident 

Desired qualifications: 

  • 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade C or above. 

Working week:

Monday to Friday,

Shift patterns 8:00am-4:30pm, 9:00am-5:30pm, 9:30am-6:00pm.
