Overview:
The role will be home based and the salary will increase depending on performance when the learner reaches level 5 and 6.
Main role / Responsibilities [will include but not be limited to]:
- Develop some truly engaging and effective learning experiences in a fun way for this specific industry
- Lead UX/IU design of digital learning experiences
- Lead UX of learning experiences (blended learning)
- Design creative graphics for eLearning, learning aids and flyers
- Utilise the Adobe Suite to create content, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Leverage some stock assets and create some illustrations
- Consider UI design principles, e.g. buttons and screen layout
- Ensure the assets are produced in line with agreed timescales
- Collaborate with internal Instructional Designers and eLearning Developers
Desirable skills:
- Your main skills are around graphical design, UX/UI
- Creative, with a passion for design
- Confident individual who can work in an agile manner
- Highly proficient in the Adobe Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good capabilities in Microsoft Office PowerPoint®
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- An interest in the animal health care sector or a love for animals
- Good sense of humour
Experience:
- Experience in a Graphic Design role
- Experience of using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to create 2D 3D graphic assets

Desired qualifications:
Standard Entry Requirements:
- 120 UCAS Tariff points
From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas or the International Baccalaureate.
Non-standard entry with work experience:
Relevant qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme. Requests will be considered on an individual basis where appropriate.
English language requirements:
- GCSE at grade C (new GCSE numerical Grade 4) or above;
- International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent).
Maths requirements:
- GCSE maths at grade C or above, or equivalent are required for entry.
- Functional skills Level 2 in maths is accepted as equivalent
Working week:
40hrs a week - Between 08:00 – 18:00, Monday-Friday: either 08:00 -17:00 or 09:00 – 18:00.
