Generation is a global non-profit organisation that finds and nurtures diverse unemployed and under-employed people facing barriers and supports them to enter life-changing careers. We do this by offering skills boot-camps in tech, health and the green sectors, which include extensive wraparound support and partner with leading employers to provide our learners with meaningful employment opportunities.

Connect with employers – At the end of the programmes, Generation will connect you with employers hiring for the exact qualification you gained, support you through your application, and help you transition into your working life.

Free IT support – if you need a laptop, webcam, or internet connectivity to help you access the boot-camp, we’ll provide it while you study, free of charge

Continue to receive your benefits –If you’re receiving universal credit or other benefits, we’ll work with you to make sure you continue to receive these during the programme.

Training

Loud Engineering: Programmes in Amazon, Google and Microsoft Azure Cloud that train you to become a Cloud Engineer, an IT professional responsible for technological duties related to cloud computing, including design, maintenance and support.

  • Data Engineering: This programme trains you to become a Data Engineer, a person whose job is to build and maintain the tech systems that enable companies to navigate huge amounts of data, smoothly and securely.

  • Data Analytics: This programme trains you to become a Data Analyst, a person whose job is to gather and interpret data in order to solve a specific problem for a business.

  • IT Support with Cyber Security: This programme trains you to become a IT Support Analyst. If you choose to go onto specialise in Cyber Security, you could progress to roles including Cyber Security Analyst and Penetration Tester within 5 years of starting your career in IT Support.

  • Green energy: This programme will teach you everything you need to know to get certified as a qualified Retrofit Advisor, we’ll provide you with the skills you need to nail a job interview with one of Generation’s employer partners and launch a ‘green’ career earning a starting salary of around £24,000.

  • Healthcare: Do you enjoy caring for people, and seeing them feel better thanks to you? Then you could make a great Trainee Healthcare Support Worker. On this 5 week online programme you’ll get the knowledge and skills you need to become a Healthcare Support Worker.
Generation: You Employed

  • Loud Engineering: Cloud Engineering certification from Amazon, Google and Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms.

  • Data Engineering: Data Engineering certification and skills in building and maintaining data systems.

  • Data Analytics: Data Analytics certification and skills in collecting and analysing data for business solutions.

  • IT Support with Cyber Security: IT Support Analyst certification and skills in providing IT support and troubleshooting technical issues. Optional Cyber Security certification and skills in securing and testing IT systems.

  • Green energy: Retrofit Advisor certification and skills in improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

  • Healthcare: Healthcare Support Worker certification and skills in caring for patients and assisting medical professionals.
