pstrongEmployer description:strongp pThis post is part of the Bright Futures Education Trusts central IT team and will provide support to Rushbrook Primary Academy and Stanley Grove Primary Academy. The post holder will be based across both sites on a rota with occasional requirement to work flexibly. The role holder work under the supervision of the Trusts Digital IT Manager, who is the line manager of the role holder.p pstrongOverview:strongp pAs part of the team, role holders will be responsible for the monitoring and resolution of IT related issues and queries. The post holder will play a pivotal role in providing a high level of user support utilising an IT service desk. The post holder will be based at each school in rotation over a working week. Some travel to other sites may be required.p pstrongResponsibilities:strongp ul liSupport the provision of an efficient IT support service to Trust IT users to include 1supstsup and 2supndsup line desktop, network and server infrastructure support.li liContribute and maintain a process of IT incident call handling and escalation.li liAssist with change management implementation.li liAssist with the maintenance and support of all the Trusts IT systems and infrastructure when required.li liSupport management and the Digital IT Manager in project implementation as well as the implementation and maintenance of trust IT standards and best practice.li liLearn new technologies as appropriate.li liThe role will require occasional out-of-hours working.li liComplete a level apprentice framework alongside external training partnerli ul pstrongDesirable skills:strongp ul liIT Literacy including Windows and Microsoft Office.li liTroubleshooting of IT related problems.li liSelf-motivated with a drive to complete tasks to the required time scales and quality standards.li liWillingness to work outside of normal working hours on occasion.li liFlexibility to adapt to changing workload demands.li liPersonal commitment to the Trusts professional standards and code of conduct.li liA commitment to further training and a willingness to participate in relevant CPD.li liA positive approach to challenges, which seeks solutions to problems and addresses difficultiesli liA full UK driving license and access to a vehicle that can be used for commuting between schools.li ul pstrongEntry requirements:strongp ul li3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subjectli liGCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above)li liProspective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subjectli ul pYou may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
