When you join our 24-month Higher Apprenticeship Programme as a Network Outage Planning Engineer, youll have a mixture of formal training and education, alongside office-based experience where you will be able to put the new skills and knowledge acquired from the scheme into practice. The roles are based in Warwick. We offer flexible, hybrid working.
This role is based in our Sellindge site near Ashford. There will be semi regular visits to interconnector sites.Training will take place at our training facility in Eakring (Nottinghamshire) throughout the Apprenticeship and regular travel here will be required. We are proud to offer a starting salary of 29,819.

You’ll play a crucial role in the safe construction, maintenance, and repair of the UK’s power network, ensuring a reliable supply of electricity to the country. This dynamic role will take you to various locations across our network.You must live within 45 minutes of BS37 9TX to be considered for this role.

You’ll need to achieve a minimum 2:2 in a Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree discipline. It doesnt matter when you graduated or if you are currently working towards your qualification. We just need you to be eager to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting. Due to the amount of travel to our site locations, you’ll need to have a full valid UK driving license that allows you to drive in the UK. Youll need flexibility to travel within role and throughout your rotations as required.
