Description of Opportunity

PLEASE NOTE START DATE WILL BE DELAYED UNTIL AFTER CURRENT COVID LOCKDOWN IS LIFTED

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a newly developing team as the Thatched Tavern has just reopened after an extensive refit by its new owners. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to help with the organising and planning seasonal events, supper clubs, parties etc.

Daily duties learning

Mixology,

Wines,

Cellar Management

Meeting & greeting customers

Taking and serving food and drink orders


In return, the successful candidate will receive the following

National Minimum Wage for Age

an equal share of all tips

Some experience of working with the General Public internally within Hospitality



Grades c (4) or above in maths and english is an advantage but not essential. This will be assessed at the start of the qualification
