They usually have about 20 horses of mixed abilities from those who just hack to intermediate event horses. It is a busy, friendly yard with lots of opportunities to learn and develop We have no accommodation- so please be local and able to travel to the yard

Description

Easton Farm is a busy, friendly yard with lots of opportunities to learn and develop

They are looking for someone who would like to learn, is reliable, has lots of energy and who is trustworthy - Attitude is more important than experience!

Duties will include;

•Mucking out

•Turning out/bringing in

•Tack cleaning

•Tacking up

•Feeding

•Filling hay nets

•Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming if possible

•Bathing

•Rug changing

•Riding

•First aid

•Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, long reining, pessoa training etc.)

•Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Some Horse Care experience would be beneficial
Ability to complete Functional Skills at Level 1 or higher
Full Traineeship supported by Haddon Training
