The general administration duties within this role may include:
Serve customers over the counter
Using the computer system
Post parcels and letters in the UK and Internationally
Cash handling duties
Pay out benefits and pensions
Take bill payments
Process road tax requests and payments
Issue Biometric cards
General administrative duties
Cleaning and tidying the post office

Good communication skills – both verbal and written
Good timekeeping and attendance
A minimum of three GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) including English.
Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)End-Point Assessment (EPA)
The ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team and be respectful to team members at all times. Be an excellent communicator at all levels, via telephone and face to face. Be able to use their own initiative.
