Description

As an Office Administrator, you will often act as the Managing Director’s first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the company. Tasks are likely to include:· Creating and maintaining suitable systems and processes, including data management and filing, for the Managing Director’s key role of managing the company.· Documentation of file notes following client or company contact. · Arranging travel / accommodation and, occasionally, local travelling with the Managing Director to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations.· Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.· Meeting and greeting visitors on behalf of the Managing Director.· Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments.· Dealing with incoming email and post, often corresponding on behalf of the Managing Director.· Carrying out background research and presenting findings to the Managing Director.· Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for internal consumption.· Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the Managing Director is well prepared for meetings;· Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff. Ensure that significant risk issues are referred to the Managing Director where appropriate.· Make a constructive contribution to the continuing development of the role and Chetwood Wealth Management. In addition to supporting the Managing Director the candidate will also have their own personal workload and responsibilities. The additional duties may include:· Carrying out specific projects and research.· Assist in the production, proofing and distribution of quarterly and ad hoc investment reporting to clients. · Proactively enhance industry knowledge, through external and internal sources.

§ Demonstrate excellent IT skills and ability to learn new ones§ Analytical in solving tasks with a keen attention for detail § Possess excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to work under pressure and prioritise
§ GCSE English and maths (or equivalents) at grade 4 or above

The successful Learner will be fully supported to complete L3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. One day per week (term times only) released to College.

This role is offered on a 2 year fixed contract, which will be reviewed either at the end of contract or upon successful completion of the L3 Business Admin course with a view to either extending the contract or the potential offer of a full-time position within Chetwood.
