Description

Set on 1,000 acres at the foot of the Chilterns, the Farm boasts extensive training facilities and have a 45 Horse Yard with own grass and all weather gallops. Point to Point and National Hunt Yard. Extensive schooling facilities. Previous knowledge of Riding Racehorses would be an advantage. Driving Licence required as it’s in a rural location.

General duties will include;

  • Mucking out
  • Tack cleaning
  • Bathing
  • Handling fit race horses
  • Riding out on gallops
  • Feeding
  • Holding for vet, farrier, dentist
  • Plaiting and trimming


Successful candidate will be:

  • 16-24 years old
  • Experienced riding racehorses
  • Experienced handling racehorses
  • Familiar with racing criteria e.g. weight restrictions
  • Ambitious to succeed in the racing industry
  • Hard working with a positive attitude

  • Experience with horses is essential. Please note that applicants with no experience will not be considered for this position.
  • Ability to ride fit racehorses

GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
