Description
Assist more senior chefs in preparing meals in either part or in full
Responsible for the day to day running of any given section
The cleanliness, stock control, organisation and standards of the section.
Constantly advising Chef on needs and ordering requirements.
Assist other Chefs and help each other keep motivated and focused.
To work as part of a team in a constructive manner that enables us to achieve the objective of being a market leader in the quality dining market
To be aware of, and comply with statutory requirements regarding the work place such as health & safety, hygiene, fire prevention, licensing and employment law, etc.
To carry out any reasonable duty to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen.
To assist on other sections or help with other duties when required.
Responsible for executing allocated dishes on time to the required standard
Work as part of the kitchen team under the direction of the head chef to support the demands of the kitchen.
Complete an apprenticeship
Work in a clean and tidy manner
Undertake training as required
Maintain a positive and pro active attitude at all times
Actively seek to improve skills and achieve personal development
Comply with the provisions of your contract and any of our Company Policies
Seek to ensure at all times that all visitors or guests on our sites have the best experience possible.
