For more information about this vacancy please contact HIT Training on 02382 149390 (Ref ID: 157271)

We will teach you everything you need to know, but a good grasp of maths and an interest in science is a bonus- brewing beer is more technical than some people realise!

Maths and English qualifications (training provided, if needed).

Current qualifications are not necessarily important to us, as this is a very hands on job, so people that may not do well in a formal exam environment could still have the right skills to become a great brewer.

- Brewer Apprenticeship Level 4,

- Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2 (if required).

Any successful candidate will need to be the kind of person that takes pride in their work. Our brewers are perfectionists when it comes to the beer we brew. Attention to detail is very important, brewing beer is a creative process when it comes to writing recipes but the actual brew process is very scientific and precise.

As with any company we would expect great timekeeping and enthusiasm for the role.

We hope to take someone on as an apprentice that will stay with us after they are a fully qualified brewer. We hope to provide a full time job at the end of the training, and we would rather employ someone who we have trained up ourselves now than someone external. We have plans to expand and grow the business in the future, they have just been delayed by Coronavirus the last couple of years.
