As a commis chef you will engage in cooking, baking, pastry making or butchering duties.
This position involves food preparation and presentation with flair for breakfast, lunch and dinner for A la Carte, room service, functions and buffet service.
Your duties will involve ensuring strict stock rotation and minimum wastage.
You will learn how stock control procedures are implemented and maintained as well as how to order necessary foods according to proposed business demands.
Your working shifts will be 5 days out of seven, mixture of weekends (our busiest days) and weekdays, mostly evening shifts.
