Description

Andrew is an International Event Rider & Trainer based at Northill in Bedfordshire.

Andrews team is paramount to his success and he's very grateful to them all for their ongoing support & hard work for which the new apprentice would be part of.

As well as competing up to 5* Andrew offers a range of services including backing & schooling horses, competing owners horses and training and clinics.


The applicant must have prior experience as the horses are strong and fit so riding ability is necessary and happy to go to competitions and a chance to work with horses from 4 year olds to 5* event horses.

There will be training towards riding on offer and the opportunity to groom at top events throughout the eventing season.

The candidate must be keen and willing to learn.

All general yard duties such as: Mucking out and laying beds, Filling hay nets & making feeds, Turning out/bringing in & changing rugs and Paddock and yard maintenance.

Some previous knowledge and experience with horses and riding is essential.
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
Contact Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Hard working, keen, friendly, good sense of humour, good with horses.
Full time position offered on completion of apprenticeship or progression to level 3 advanced apprenticeship
Space available for horse
