Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
The role holder will be responsible for providing day to day support in triaging security-related incidents originating from both internal and external customers. 



Salary:
£22,000 per annum.



Duties:





  • Work with our Managed Detection & Response provider to remediate security incidents


  • Provide support and analysis during and after a security incident


  • Ensuring security patching for systems is completed and troubleshooting any patching issues


  • Working with external penetration testers and creating remediation plans


  • Execute and manage frequent vulnerability scans and create remediation plans


  • To monitor, maintain and protect Ebiquity’s networks, systems and assets from malicious activity


  • Recommend security best practices and evaluate security tools


  • Participate in security investigations and compliance reviews, as requested by internal or external auditors




Other responsibilities include reporting to management concerning residual risk, vulnerabilities and other security exposures, including misuse of information assets and noncompliance.



What we are looking for:
It is expected that the role holder will understand technical principles of IT and are able to provide support on Information Security to our regions locally and internationally.
In addition, the role holder will be a good communicator able to translate technical Information Security concepts into language understandable by non-technical stakeholders.



Essential:





  • Analytical and problem-solving skills 


  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 


  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills 


  • Demonstrable Technical understanding of IT infrastructure such as networks, Azure Active Directory, Windows Server and Windows Active Directory 




Entry requirements:





  • An A-Level in ICT


  • OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT


  • OR a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject


  • OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
