Harry Hall is your one- stop-equestrian-shop home to well-known equestrian brands Masta, Protechmasta, Caldene, Tottie, Cottage Craft and Mastacare. Our brands offer great value as well as durability. At Harry Hall you can find horse rugs, stable essentials, rider wear and everything in between.



The Role:



You’ll be at the forefront of our big data queries and bringing our reporting automation to life. With space to train in the role we are looking for a digital native with an in educational background in maths or computer science to build the reports that will power our business’s decision making.



Responsibilities:





  • Building data assets and reports for different departments in Harry Hall.


  • Preparing data for analysis and building bridges between different data sets and channels.


  • Performing data analysis, visualising results and feeding back insights to the business.


  • Keeping our weekly and monthly PowerBI reporting automated and accurate and building in improvements wherever possible.


  • Helping the wider business to automate data tasks and improve data accuracy.


  • Keeping up to date with tech, software and Ai with hands-on learning and show & tell engagements with other team members.




Desirable Skills:



Skills to develop:





  • Experience or education in database languages like SQL or Python would be a big advantage.


  • Experience or understanding of data visualisation tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or Google Looker Studio.


  • Strong IT skills a must at the start. ChatGPT and Excel come naturally to you.




Personal Qualities:





  • Adaptable to keep learning as technology moves forward.


  • A numbers person. Stats, graphs and formulas are second nature to you.


  • A love of data and curious nature. An excitement to develop a career in analytics, programming and machine learning.


  • Teamwork and communication. You’ll need to work with team members to meet reporting briefs and feedback your results effectively.




Entry Requirements:



Standard Entry:





  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)


  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)




Plus:





  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above 


  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)




You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
