Description of Opportunity

Level 2 or 3 apprenticeship vacancy available for someone especially interested in wanting to learn to teach and further their riding. There is plenty of opportunities to ride too.

This wonderful equestrian centre comprises of a livery yard, riding school and competition centre with around 60 horses and ponies of all shapes and sizes.

Outdoor and indoor schools, xc, showjumping, great facilities. BE eventing centre, full xc course, instructors competing at Dressage and Eventing.

Plenty of hacking.

General yard duties including; turn out/bring in, muck out, feed/water, rug change, health checks, tacking up and tack care, grooming, exercising liveries (lunge and ride). Opportunities to groom at competitions and compete for the right candidate.

Full training provided.

Looking for enthusiastic candidate keen to learn.

Some previous experience with horses.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Must be keen, hard-working and willing to work outdoors in all weathers.
Opportunity for a full-time job or progression to a Level 3 apprenticeship if signed up on to the Level 2.
