This unrivalled overview and connectivity enable us to be a trusted guide through a complex global landscape of research, development, and innovation.p pstrongOverview:strongp pReporting to the Partnership, PR and Communications Lead this role will support Reach & Engagement in creating, managing, and analysing social media content for all our system channels. br br This role provides a valuable opportunity to develop digital marketing skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving public sector environment, contributing to impactful campaigns that engage diverse audiences and promote Innovate UK Business Connects initiatives and services.p pstrongResponsibilities:strongp ul liAssist in the development and execution of social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.li liAssist in the creation of engaging content, including posts, graphics, videos, and stories, that align with our goals and target audiences.li liMonitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers in a professional and consistent manner.li liTrack, analyse, and report on social media performance using analytics tools, identifying key metrics and areas for improvement.li liSupport the wider Reach & Engagement team with administrative tasks, including scheduling social posts, maintaining social media calendars, and support the curation of a content library.li liCollaborate with different teams to gather relevant information and develop content that highlights the organisation’s achievements, events, and services.li liAssist with delivering paid social media campaigns and advertising as required.li ul pstrongDesirable skills:strongp ul liEducation, internship, or volunteering work in a communications or marketing environment.li liBasic understanding of social media analytics tools e.g. LinkedIn Analytics and how to interpret data to improve performance.li liKnowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign management.li liExperience of content scheduling tools such as Hootsuite.li liAn interest or background in public sector communications or community engagement.li liAttention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.li liAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility and a willingness to learn.li liA proactive and creative approach to tasks, demonstrating enthusiasm for generating and developing new ideas.li liGood written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.li liMicrosoft Office skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.li ul pstrongIn addition, the following experience would be beneficial:strongp ul liBasic knowledge of major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok Instagram).li liSome administration experience OR criteria agreed with Apprenticeship provider.li liExperience of building effective relationships.li ul pstrongSalary:strong 23,000 per annump pstrongWorking hours:strong 37.5 hours per week, 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunchp pstrongBenefits:strongp pThis role provides a valuable opportunity to develop digital marketing skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving public sector environment, contributing to impactful campaigns that engage diverse audiences and promote Innovate UK Business Connects initiatives and servicesp pstrongFuture prospects:strongp pUpon successful completion of your apprenticeship, there may be opportunity to grow and progress within the organisation.p pstrongImportant information:strongp pThis vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer.
