<h4>We’re responsible for:</h3>

  • Building the UK’s prosperity by increasing exports and investment, opening markets, ensuring access to resources, and promoting sustainable global growth
  • Supporting British nationals around the world through modern and efficient consular services

As an Apprentice for the FCO, you can earn a certificate in Business Administration whilst gaining work experience in the Civil Service.

Get your start in Business Administration

Our worldwide network of embassies and consulates employs over 14,000 people in nearly 270 diplomatic offices. We work with international organisations such as the EU, NATO, the United Nations, the UN Security Council and the Commonwealth.

As an Apprentice for the FCO, you can earn a certificate in Business Administration whilst gaining work experience in one of the most exciting departments in the Civil Service.

Three words I would use to summarise working for the FCO: fulfilling, stimulating, brilliant.
