Training

In the most part assessment is undertaken in the workplace. The exception to this is the Accountancy training. Learners will need to come into a Centre on a one day per week basis over the course of the curriculum year. For those in the workplace, learners are visited roughly on a monthly basis and support given in between visits. This is given via an On-Line portfolio which the learner and assessor can access at any time. Feedback and guidance is given after every visit. The learner is given a comprehensive training plan so will be able to know what it expected of them throughout their programme including any deadlines deemed necessary. All of Acacia’s learners are given regular impartial advice and guidance by qualified staff to ensure you are given the correct support throughout the learning journey.

Acacia Training have four physical training centres that are situated in Taunton, Newton Abbot, Plymouth and Roche, Cornwall. Although they deliver training at these locations, the majority of our Apprenticeship programmes take place in the workplace.
