Leeds City College offers Apprenticeships covering all industries, from the traditional professions of engineering, motor vehicle, hairdressing and childcare to the growing office-based prospects in customer service, management and marketing.

State-of-the-art facilities and experienced, industry-specialist tutors give our Apprentices the best opportunity to learn the skills they need to work.

Leeds City College operates out of five main campuses – Horsforth, Keighley, Park Lane, Technology and Printworks – as well as having provisions in smaller community centres across the region.

What Leeds City College Offers

Our Apprenticeship Recruitment Service works with candidates to give information, advice & guidance on career pathways via Apprenticeships. CV writing, interview skills and employability skills are all covered in our information & induction sessions and candidates are supported by Assessors throughout the duration of their Apprenticeship.

Training

Leeds City College apprenticeship training is delivered in a variety of ways - depending on the apprenticeship being undertaken and the preference of the employer.

Apprenticeships can be day-release, block-release, workplace learning - from May 2017, all will include 20% off-the-job training. 

Apprentices are assessed in a variety of ways including work place assessments and portfolios and, for more recent standards, synoptic projects / tests.
