Canal Engineering Apprenticeships
Today, Canal Engineering is separated into 5 divisions according to our products and services we provide.
Each division is backed by their own management teams and skilled work forces, who boast a wealth of knowledge and experience – all under one roof. Canal Engineering is committed to building the skills of it's workforce and has it's own division CEATA which offers engineering training to apprentices from employed by Canal Engineering and also many other local engineering companies. Canal Engineering is proud to have been recognised by The National Apprenticeship Service for it's apprenticeship programmes and is listed as a Top 100 Apprentice Employer. Our apprentices have superb career prospects and are a vital part of our continued success and expansion.
Through Canal Engineering and our training division CEATA we recruit for many employers and train apprentices. All our apprentices study at CEATA on a day release basis. We have a fantastic new training academy fully equipped to deliver high quality practical and knowledge training covering manufacturing, fabrication, welding and mechanical engineering apprenticeships. All our apprentices benefit from small class sizes and year round tuition achieving nationally recognised qualifications. Apprentices can expect to receive a bespoke package of training to meet the needs of their job roles and all apprentices we take on either with Canal Engineering or one of our partner employers can look forward to a sustained career path for many years in return for their hard work and commitment to study.
CEATA accepts applications for apprenticeships throughout the year and are very keen to hear from young people with a passion to work in engineering in Nottingham, Derby, Newark and Burton on Trent..
