Detailed Job Description

As an apprentice at Colliers Croft Care Home, you will be required to provide the upmost standard of care to the patients.

Your daily duties will include:

  • Assisting at meal times
  • General housekeeping duties as and when required
  • Contributing to health and social care within the setting
  • Handling information in the health and social care setting
  • Understand the role of communication and interaction with individuals
  • Supporting residents with day to day activities
  • Supporting with day trips
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

  • 3 - 9 (9/4) Grade GCSEs in maths and English would be a distinct advantage.

  • Able to understand and communication effectively

  • Able to work flexibly around clients and their needs
  • Understanding the needs and requirements of each patient
