Detailed Job Description

  • Dealing with queries, issues and enquiries from stakeholders and ensuring that all matters are dealt with professionally and efficiently and escalating when necessary.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure activities are delivered to time and within budget.
  • To maintain systems / processes within function.
  • Adherence to all Group & Functional processes & policies and highlighting any non-compliance to line manager.
  • Identifying any opportunity to continually improve processes, value & service.
  • Providing administrative support for the team.
  • Contribute to procurement projects, business winning & mobilisations when required.
  • Updating and maintaining information / data across relevant systems.
  • Identify trends, opportunities & risks.
  • To assist with effective delivery of procurement projects into the department.
  • Contributing towards the effective delivery of the overarching procurement strategy.
  • Placing of orders for the purchase of products, materials and services, ensuring all orders are completed dispatched and filed effectively & efficiently.
  • Ensure tasks are carried out effectively and within SLA's / deadlines.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

  • IT literate with experience of use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential
  • 5 GCSEs (grade 4 or above) including maths and English or equivalents
