Hair Xchange was established by Jane Hirst in 2002. Jane has over 20 years of hairdressing experience and after working locally took the opportunity to open her own small salon in Whitkirk. The cosy salon has recently blossomed into a larger, beautiful, bright and airy salon. The Salon prides itself in offering a warm and friendly atmosphere and highly trained passionate hair stylists who listen to their clients needs. The team offers cutting, colouring and styling services that are tailored to each individual client. The Salon also stock a wide range of professional hair products by Matrix, Alfaparf, Fudge and GHD.

Programme Duration: 24 months.
As an apprentice at the Hair Exchange your duties will include:
•Excellent customer service skills
•Good communication skills
•Great time management skills

While this apprenticeship lasts for 20 months, upon completion of this time you may be offered the chance to remain a full time, fully qualified member of the team with the possibility of going on to further qualifications in hairdressing.
You will get full support throughout the apprenticeship by us at the Hair Xchange, and competition of the apprenticeship will mean that you get the below:
•Level 2 Hair Professional standard
•Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by The Hair Xchange who will also provide you with all on-the-job training needed to upskill in your role
•Your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day
•Functional skills in English & maths
