Estio Training has an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Support Engineer Apprentice at Sharp Business Systems. The position is based in Norwich. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Fixing, maintenance and repair of photocopier devices.Preparing machines for customers at the Basildon workshopInstalling photocopiers at customer sitesTo ensure customers receive a satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements.Looking after stocks of parts and toner.Providing telephone support to customers as requiredTravelling to customers sites

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

5 GCSE’s at grades A*- C or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills required

An strong interest and a good understanding of electrical /mechanical engineeringGCSE grade A*- C in Engilish, Maths and ICTGood interpersonal and customer service skillsA full UK driving licence would be an advantage but will be essentail within 18 months of employment.

Initial progression to Trainee Customer Support Engineer, moving on to Customer Support Engineer and in the long term Senior Customer Support Engineer. Additional Information

Training provided

The Estio Training IT Apprenticeship programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt. Learners will receive seven weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience. Training will lead to industry-recognised qualifications including: Advanced apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles Functional skills, Maths L2, English L2 and ICT L2 PLTS and ERR Estio training also offer the following optional units: CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+
