The role of Care Worker involves delivering programme of care that is personalised for each Resident which is informed by care plans, Ayrshire house’s policies & procedures and through contemporary legislation. The role of the Care Worker will therefore include assisting the Resident with a variety of duties, and in doing so the Care Worker will observe and respect the Resident’s dignity, privacy and independence as far as is practical. Supporting the Resident to make personal choices, be involved in decisions regarding their health and social care and to work in the Residents best interest.
