The British Heart Foundation is offering an opportunity to study for a Level 2 Retail Apprenticeship as an Apprentice Shop Assistant in their Bootle BHF Store.Working alongside our team of staff and volunteers, you will take part in all the day to day activities of a busy retail environment. Every day can be different; you may be providing excellent customer service on the shop floor to creating eye-catching displays in the window or organizing donations in the stock area.Role Highlights•You’ll be joining our award-winning retail division, we’re the largest and most successful charity retailer in the country, with over 560 fashion stores, 175 furniture and electrical stores delivering a vital profit of over £29m a year.Apprenticeship HighlightsA Nationally recognised qualification in Retail Skills. No formal qualifications are required but applicants should have:• Some knowledge and understanding of the BHF cause and its objectives• An enthusiasm and determination to learn about retail and to gain a qualification
Intermediate Diploma in Retail Skills
• Great communication skills • Build a rapport with people • The ability to work collaboratively with others and be a team player • The ability to work under own initiative • A can-do attitude
This qualification could lead to a Sales Assistant appointment in one of our busy shops or a progression to a Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeship.
