Working in a professional retail car sales environment is exciting and rewarding and represents an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow your earnings ability.
Do you feel you possess the skills and qualities needed to be successful in sales? If so we are looking for talented individuals to join our sales team as Sales Apprentices across the UK selling a combination of new and/or used vehicles, with a wide range of finance and insurance products.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate high levels of confidence and drive, raw talent and good character and attitude. You must be well presented with a desire to work in a customer facing environment. You will be savvy with new technology and will be trained able to use it to enhance customer experiences. You will also need to have attention to detail and will develop an in-depth understanding of the products you will sell. You are more likely to succeed in our company if you are a self-starter who enjoys challenge and gets a buzz from achieving targets. You will have the ability to quickly establish and build rapport with people and will also possess a clean driving licence and willing to be trained.
Job Purpose
- The purpose of this role is to gain the fundamental skills of good customer service to enable them to sell a combination of new and/or used vehicles, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.
- To participate in sales campaigns and promotions that maximise sales penetration and to take part in on and off site promotions.
- To be able to demonstrate a 5 point walk around and competently manage all aspects of the customer relationship in a vehicle sales environment, including meeting and greeting the customer and a professional qualification of their buying needs.
- To conduct a comprehensive appraisal of vehicles for part exchange in line with organisational requirements, procedures and practices.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards at all times in line with dealer group and Manufacturer standards.
We provide all of our new sales apprentices with a comprehensive training and induction program that will deliver everything you need to be successful.

GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent desirable.
Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service.
This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits.
On this apprenticeship you will also attend FCA workshops on the below subjects.

This is an apprenticeship position on £12,000 per annum which may involve weekend working on a rota basis. Once you commence at the Retailer, further induction training will be supplied by the Retailer. You will also receive visits and other training from the Learning Skills Partnership representative.
