Description
To provide service and support to the administration division of the dealership. To organise work within the administrative function to achieve the highest level of accuracy. You will also be expected to assist in customer-facing areas to ensure the image of the dealership is maintained.
Duties -
- Raising job cards for pre-booked work
- Health and Safety Administration duties
- Checking for outstanding service actions / recalls on the JLR portal
- General Filing
- Supporting the Warranty Administrator with claim process / resubmissions
- Supporting the parts department with timely return of displaced parts
Communication & Interaction -
- Maintain effective liaison with Dealership Management and other Administrative Staff
- Ensure good customer contact
- Be able to communicate courteously and efficiently with customers and employees on the telephone or in the dealership

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, who has a professional looking and smart appearance.
You will need to be confident when dealing with areas within the administration department and be able to work well under pressure.
Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills are key together with good administrative and organisational skills.
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade D or above desirable but not essential.
Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits.

Full training will be given in this challenging and varied role to ensure that the apprentice has the skills and expertise be considered as a permanent member of staff.
This apprenticeship may involve working weekends and may involve working in the evenings. This is agreed locally on a rota basis. It will be hard work but it is a great environment to work in. You will also receive visits and other training from the Learning Skills Partnership representative. The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. After the first three months of the apprenticeship the pay will be reviewed and depending on performance the wage may rise.
