Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven, diligent, motivated and switched on candidate who really wants to learn to groom World Class Horses to the very highest standards whilst gaining a nationally recognised qualification. You must enjoy working for a professional and close knit team.

Candidate must be confident handling fit competition horses.

General yard duties to include:

  • Mucking out
  • Making up feeds
  • Paddock and yard maintenance
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Grooming
  • Clipping/plaiting/pulling/trimming/bathing
  • Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Some previous experience with horses.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English

Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.

Enthusiastic, hardworking, friendly, polite, calm around horses.

Full time position on completion of diploma.
