Description

Dressage experience not essential, but the position would suit someone wanting to progress as a dressage rider/trainer. Lots of riding available for those capable.

General yard duties such as:

-Mucking out

-Turning out/bringing in

-Tack cleaning Tacking up

-Clipping/pulling/plaiting/bathing/trimming

-Rug changing

-Schooling depending on experience

-Hacking out

-Travelling to shows

-Rug changing

-Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

-Exercising horses (lunging, long-reining, horse walker etc.)

-First aid (such as bandaging)

-Paddock and yard maintenance

Some previous experience with horses.
No formal qualifications required.
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, hardworking, punctual, reliable. Happy and willing to work outside in all weathers.
Progression to Level 3, or/and full-time position on completion of diploma.
This is a live in position, if needed. There is the possibility to bring your own horse.
