General yard duties will include:

  • Mucking out and bedding down
  • Tacking up and cleaning tack
  • Turning out and bringing in
  • All field duties
  • Riding and hunting based on capability
  • Opportunity to travel to shows

Some previous experiences with horses.
No formal qualifications required.
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
The candidate must be hard working, keen to learn and able to use their initiative. They must be willing to outside in all weathers.
Progression onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship or a full time position on completion of the diploma.
No accommodation, driver essential. Possibility to bring own horse, to be discussed.
