Description

The location is looking for an apprentice to join their friendly team. The yard breed superior sport horses as well as producing young stock, selling and competing.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone to be involved with all aspects of breeding and handling top class young stock. There would be an opportunity to ride; there would be basic hacking and schooling available to someone who is a competent rider, along with a weekly training session with Charlie. There would also be ample opportunity to groom at competitions, as Charlie regularly takes her horses show jumping.

Experience with horses is essential. Please note that applicants with no experience will not be considered for this vacancy.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, hardworking, calm and confident around horses, and willing to work outside in all weathers.
Opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship, or a full-time position.
No accommodation, it may be possible to take your own horse.
