Description

The candidate must have experience and be able to ride confidently as there will be both hacking and fitness work on the gallops.

Plenty of opportunity to groom away at top events throughout the Eventing season, and a weekly lesson will also be on offer.

General yard duties to include:

  • Mucking out
  • Tack cleaning
  • Mucking out
  • Gallop work
  • Laying beds
  • Filling hay nets
  • Rug changing
  • Bringing in/turning out
  • Making feeds
  • Paddock and yard maintenance
  • Grooming at competitions

Some previous experience with horses, competent rider a must.
No formal qualifications required.
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Hard-working, fit, strong, willing to work outdoors in all types of weather

Possibility of full time position on completion of diploma.

No accommodation available, but there is the possibility to take your own horse.
