Description

Established in 1981, we have bought, produced and sold multiple winners of 4*, 3*, 2* and 1* CCI’s; Olympic, World and European Championship Senior British Team horses, plus European Young Rider and Junior British Team horses, including multiple Medal winners. We are extremely successful up to and including 4* level eventing and Grade A level Show Jumping, and therefore fully understand the requirements of top level competition.

We have bought, produced and sold Show Jumpers that have gone on to compete and win at Junior European and National Young Rider Championships, as well as Grand Prix and World Cup qualifiers. Plus we have bought, produced and sold innumerable “made” hunters and masters’ horses to the premier packs. We have also bought, produced and sold multiple Bumper, Hurdle, and Chase winners, including Black Type Winners. We have a proven track record of matching horse to rider, all horses are selected for their ability, temperament and athleticism.

We have a vacancy for an apprentice to join our highly successful team. This is predominantly a non-riding position, but if the applicant was an experienced rider there would be opportunity here to ride. The yard competes regularly so there would be lots of opportunity to groom at competitions.

General yard duties such as:

  • Mucking out
  • Grooming
  • Feeding
  • Making hay nets
  • Yard and paddock maintenance
  • Riding depending on ability
  • Lunging
  • Handling youngstock
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Prepping National Hunt Store Horses for the May sales
