Description
The correct candidate will work with the sales team, reporting to the Sales Manager, to help promote the business and generate sales.
Key tasks include:
- Creating newsletters to be sent to our large customer base
- Writing blogs to be posted on our website
- Promoting Sustainable Furniture through social media
- Responding to customer enquiries over the phone, on our online chat facility and via email
- Filing credit card receipts Fulfilling customer requests for brochures, material samples and information by post
- Unloading containers of new stock
- Pricing and checking stock at the Showroom
- Assisting with photo-shoots
- Uploading / amending product information both on our website and on other sales channels, including Amazon and Tesco Direct
- Assisting our Dispatch Team with packaging and delivery tasks when required
You will be working as part of a busy and bubbly team of people, so a good sense of humour, positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must. The correct candidate will also need to have flexible attitude to work as things are constantly changing in a small business environment. You will need to have excellent time keeping and be a quick learner, but the right candidate will really benefit from this role and will be able to learn about all areas of this dynamic business.

Essential:

What is involved: A one-day induction and 13 days at college. Typically up to three days college attendance for each Functional Skill (if required)The Diploma in Business Administration is achieved through building a portfolio, an exam and assignments. An assessor will visit the apprentice at work to support the apprentice and coach the development of skills at work.

There could be a offer of a permanent opportunity with the business , following a successful apprenticeship placement.
Working Days: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. Plus, one Saturday in every 9 from 10am – 5pm. Candidate will be required to work one Saturday in every 9 from 10am – 5pm. You may also be required to work additional hours during very busy periods or during trade shows.
