General yard duties such as:

  • Mucking out
  • Grooming
  • Bringing in/turning out
  • Exercising horses
  • Clipping
  • Plaiting
  • Trimming
  • Keeping the yard clean and tidy
  • Cleaning tack
  • Lunging
  • Schooling
  • Hacking

Please note that this is an apprenticeship role for people aged 16-23.

Some previous experience with horses is essential. Unfortunately, if you do not have the relevant experience needed for this position, we will not be able to put you forward for the role.

Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
