Description

The apprentice will report to both directors and is expected to complete all given jobs to the best of their abilities as well as be willing to learn and develop. The employer is looking for someone to work their way up in the business to a sales and possibly management position.

The salary will be assessed on a regular basis and the apprentices progress and development. The apprentice will be able to join the companies pension scheme.

The programme is made up of 2 main qualifications:*

An NVQ L2 Diploma in Food & Beverage Service and a L2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles,Units covering:

* Prepare and serve wines and cocktails.

* Prepare and serve hot drinks.

* Provide counter, buffet, take-away and carvery service.

* Provide table and silver service.

* Managing stock.

* Taking customer payment.

* Positive customer service.

* Creating a positive impression of the organisation.

* Promote additional services and up-selling and resolve customer service provide.

* Maintain health, safety and security of the working environment including food safety and hygiene practices.

* Working as part of a team.

For the right candidate and on successful completion of the apprenticeship there is the possibility of progressing into a sales role or management.
There will be a rota and the hours may extend to 10pm to help support events including Saturdays and evenings during the week.
