Description

  • Reports to Production Supervisor, Chris, for day to day duties and to Claire Scholes for personnel/HR matters.
  • Working within production to pack stock and pack orders according to pick requirements.
  • Using Sage computer software to log stock movements.
  • Process tea and work on tea machines to create tea bags and finished boxed units.
  • To partake in stock takes and stock management.
  • Day to day admin duties where required.
  • Assistance to develop new systems to make stock management more efficient.

What is involved?

  • Attendance to college for a one-day induction
  • Typically up to three days college attendance for each Functional Skill (if required)12 days college attendance
  • The Certificate in Warehousing and Storage involves building and maintaining a work-based evidenced portfolio. Assignments will also be completed. An assessor will visit the apprentice in the workplace to support the apprentice and maintain an effective relationship between the employer, the apprentice and the college.
