Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a warehouse role with Arix Europe Ltd at their warehouse in Milfield with a paid apprenticeship.You will be fully trained as a warehouse operative. Your duties will include: general housekeeping moving and picking stockbuilding pallets, wrapping packagesuse of pump trucks and pick lists. You will work alongside the warehouse supervisor. You will learn health and safety in the workplace also. Earliest start could be 8.30am finishing around 4pm. Shifts generally between Monday - Friday.As an Apprentice you will be enrolled on to an Intermediate Diploma in Warehousing and Storage. Your qualification will be delivered by an award winning training provider who will support your learning and development throughout your apprenticeship. This will involve a vocational learning advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your apprenticeship.

You must be computer literate and happy to work in a largely manual role.
No formal qualifications are required, however you must have a basic understanding of English and Mathematics.
You will work towards a transferable qualification with an award winning provider - this is a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Warehousing & Storage.
Must be generally fit and able to move items around warehouse, must be able to read lists.
Other certificates such as fork lift truck could be obtained, pay will increase as the apprenticeship progresses at three monthly intervals.
