Description

Must be confident handling fit competition horses. Great opportunity to see first-hand how an international yard runs. Ideal for Level 3 candidate.

General yard duties such as:

  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Mucking out
  • Grooming
  • Tacking up
  • Washing off
  • Clipping
  • Horse care
  • Bandaging

Some previous experience handling fit competition horses is required. If we feel you do not have the relevant experience for this role we will not be able to put you forward.
No formal qualifications are required.
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, hard working, reliable, friendly, good sense of humour, punctual.
Full time position on completion of diploma.
There is a shared flat available for accommodation, no space for your own horse but there are plenty of yards nearby.
