Description

You will be grooming at both day shows and stay away competitions, exercising based on ability with tuition from the trainer on a weekly basis.

The yard also breeds sport horses so there could be an opportunity to get involved in the backing and breaking but again this would be based on ability.

The candidate must be keen and willing to learn……and work!

General yard duties, riding, grooming at competitions.

This is an apprenticeship position for those aged 16-23.

Some previous experience with horses is required. If you do not have the relevant experience, we will not be able to put you forward for this role.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, hardworking, reliable, punctual, calm and confident handling competition fit horses.
Full time position on completion of diploma.
Not a live in position, and no space for own horse.
