Description

Day to day duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Inputting learner and employer details into our Management Information System (MAYTAS)
  • Auditing the learner enrolment paperwork by using the audit checklist against the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) Apprenticeship funding rules
  • Learning and supporting all functions of the MIS Team, such as registrations, certificate claims, updating learner records
  • Work with the rest of the team to offer support to the delivery staff regarding funding and paperwork queries
  • Using reports to correct data errors, chase missing information, and ensure correct funding is being claimed
  • General office support as required
  • Work in conjunction with other teams in the business to ensure the remote enrolment of new learners is processed efficiently and to the agreed timescales.

You will:

  • Possess the ability to prioritise, plan and work to targets and deadlines
  • Have strong communication skills - verbal and written
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when processing a range of information
  • Be analytical and be able to spot errors and inconsistencies in data
  • Work consistently to team processes and not be afraid to speak up and ask for support
  • Some previous experience working with computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
GCSE A-C in English and maths or equivalent is preferred but not essential.

Training, support and guidance will be provided on the job throughout the apprenticeship. You will work towards a Business and Administration Apprenticeship at Level 2 or 3.

The Level 3 Apprenticeship framework contains:

  • Work-based Diploma at Level 2 or 3
  • ERR (Employee Rights and Responsibilities)
  • PLTS (Personal Learning and Thinking Skills)
  • Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT at Level 1 or 2 unless you have achieved GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above in the past 5 years.
  • Be a team player, with a ’can do’ attitude and a good sense of humour
  • Be able to work on own initiative but also be able to work as a team
  • Demonstrate effective time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Have the ability to learn detailed funding rules and company processes when inputting data from the learner/employer/company paperwork
  • Share the team’s goals to maximise correct funding received by the organisation, whilst minimising risks
  • Be aware of delicate and sensitive areas of confidentiality
Full time position on completion of apprenticeship
9.00am-5.00pm with half an hour for lunch. Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
