Abbey College is an exceptional residential boarding school set on a 70 acre secure campus in Malvernschool, delivering high quality education for each and every student. Excellent opportunity to join the administration department within a fine educational boarding school. You will receive excellent support and training, gaining all-round exposure to administration and business within an academic environment.• Providing secretarial and administrative support to management and other staff.• Operation of the office, including the routine use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and excel in the preparation of letters and spreadsheets.•Audiotyping.•Taking dictation and minutes.•Forward voice messages from MD to appropriate members of staff.•Screening and answering phone calls, enquiries and requests and handling them when appropriate.•Devising and maintaining office systems.•Purchasing, receiving and storing of the office supplies - ensuring that basic supplies are always available.•Coding and filing material according to the established procedures.•Updating and ensuring the accuracy of the organisations databases.•Backing-up of electronic files using proper procedures.•Making meetings, travel and other arrangements for staff if required.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Business Administration Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
