Description

Edgar House requires an outgoing, charismatic and motivated individual to join their workforce as an Apprentice Receptionist. This Apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Qualification in Hospitality. As an Apprentice Receptionist your duties will include;•Provide a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to guests •Process room bills•Check guests in and out of the Hotel using the Hotels operating system•Administration of all reservations or cancellations•Assisting with customer enquiries•Banking at the start/end of day shifts•Liaising with other departments within the hotel You must be very well presented and be able to work on your own initiative and within a team environment. If you are not afraid to face customers with a smile and have a friendly easy going personality we would like to hear from you.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

To be able to interact with customers at all levels, be able to work under pressure and work together as part of a dedicated team.
None specific as full training will be given. But must posess good spoken and written and English.
Intermediate Diploma in Front of House Reception
The applicant will need to be friendly and approachable, smile under pressure and be able to multi task.
There will be a pay review at 3 months and the prospect of a permanent position for the right candidate.
