Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and cheerful person to join the team. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, dedicated and hardworking. You must have a sound basic knowledge of horses, be capable of working as an individual and part of a team.

We run a busy yard so it is vital that you can work as part of a team, but you also must be capable of using your own initiative.

There will also be the opportunity to travel all around the country to shows with a variety of top level horses.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a hard working individual to join our friendly team.

General yard duties such as:

  • Mucking out
  • Feeding
  • Haying & watering
  • Paddock and yard maintenance
  • Tacking up & tack cleaning
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Grooming
  • Assisting at shows

Some previous experience with horses is essential.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, passionate, enthusiastic, hardworking, punctual, reliable, calm and confident handling horses.
Full time position on completion of diploma.
Accommodation and space for your own horse is available.
