This is a wonderful opportunity to start your career in hospitality at The Saxon Inn . You will be taken through the apprenticeship by Babcock training.
A new position is available at The Saxon Inn, in Bishop Auckland to work within their kitchen and front of house team as a hospitality apprentice. This is a great opportunity to learn both aspects of the business both front and back of house.You will be trained in all departments, where you will learn all aspects of a busy service and the environment.Your duties will include:*How to prepare and serve all items on the menu including cooked and cold dishes*Assisting in ensuring orders are met in a timely manner *Ensuring the kitchen is tidy at all times, surfaces are cleared and washed down after each shift. *Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, maintained and put away after use*Occasional washing up. *Greeting customers and Taking orders *Serving customers at the bar and tables*Cash Handling and credit card payments *General cleaning duties both in the service area and kitchen and COSHH.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
