Aspire Sports & Cultural Trust is looking to recruit an Apprentice Administrator to work within the centreTo provide efficient and effective administration support to the front line services team at Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust in order to promote the business and ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.Flexibility in this role is essential to ensure the continuity of service and assisting in customer service areas, including working on reception across Aspires facilities. The postholder will be based at GL1, and will be required to work at any of Aspires other facilitiesKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1.To provide an efficient and effective administration service across all aspects of Aspires services and products.2.Management of the administration filing system ensuring it is accurate and up to date at all times.3.Processing of customer memberships4.To be fully conversant with the membership management booking and reporting systems.5.Providing cover on Aspire front of house reception areas6.To act as a cashier in terms of collecting and reconciling monies from the sales of activities in the facility and issuing receipts.7.To maintain up to date knowledge of Aspires facilities and products in order to promote, advise and sell to existing and potential new, members with passion and enthusiasm, either face to face or over the telephone.8.Dealing with customers queries, both face to face and over the telephone in a proactive, professional manner in line with front line service procedures and Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust policies.9.To communicate proactively with existing customers, to ensure they experience an excellent customer journey with Aspire.10.To be aware of and involved in current promotions and special events in order to deal with these efficiently and effectively.11.To undertake all front line service transactions through Aspires point of sale system as determined by the product on offer to our customers12.Maintain accurate records in relation to policies, practices and procedures required in this role13. To work as part of the front line service team, to ensure the provision of excellent levels of service at all times, in accordance with Aspires policies and procedures. As an Apprentice you will be included on an Diploma in Business Administration Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

No formal qualifications are required. Successful candidates will be provided with full training
Intermediate Diploma in Business Administration•Functional Skills •Technical CertificateAdministrationThe successful candidate will complete on the job learning, and be assessed by a combination of methods - e.g., observation, discussion and testing. Training will be provided by both the employer and training provider
Ability to communicate positively with members of the public, clubs and outside agencies.Demonstrate knowledge of customer care and its’ importance in a leisure environment. Evidence of self-motivation and ability to work in a team environment.
This is a temporary contract for the length of the Apprenticeship. Whilst a permanent position cannot be guaranteed do have a number of zero hour Recreation Officer contracts in the business which may be available.
