Description
This is a great opportunity to work and train as an Advanced Beauty Therapist within a popular and established salon in Blackpool.
As an Advanced Beauty Therapist you will learn techniques like body massage as well as more complicated electronic treatments to remove unwanted hair and improve skin condition. You’ll work closely with clients and will need the ability to put them at ease.You should expect to be building a clientele during your Level 3 NVQ.
Things to consider:
Must be prepared to be active for the majority of the day. Cleaning duties and supporting establish stylists may still be expected. You will be expected to communicate with members of the public in a professional and polite manner at all times. You will be required to potentially source models to practice on and you may be expected to build your own clientele. Working hours will probably include a late night and a Saturday.

You must have achieved the Level 2 Beauty Therapy NVQ previously or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy
- Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English

- Good communication, organisation and creative skills are essential in this sector; as is good person presentation.
- Keen to learn and work within this sector with an interest in current trends.
A full time position may be available upon completion of apprenticeship.

The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
